A 22-year old son of an Israeli national was the latest to get arrested by a joint crackdown team of the PNP and PDEA during a buy bust operation last night in Poblacion, Panglao town.

The haul of shabu reached to 8 grams of shabu valued at P94,400.00.

Police identified the suspect as Mahmoud Abed Elrahman Batrawi who was in possession of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu contained in different sachets. The sachets were already repacked ready to be sold contained in six small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet and one medium size sachet.

Head of the joint team, Police Senior Inspector Joemar Pomarejos told The Chronicle that the buy-bust operation also yielded a companion identified as Sany Cloa, 32, a resident of the same barangay,

The arrested suspects were brought to the police lock up jail while proper charges will be filed against them.

Police said the arrested suspects were among the top pushers of shabu in Panglao where tourists abound.

    Is this guy an Israeli too? it is only stated that he is a son of an Israeli national.
    Is he staying as tourist or permanent resident? Report has to be clear as to the
    status of a foreigner’s stay in our locality.
