Police on Monday night arrested two alleged drug personalities during a drug buy-bust operation in Antequera town.
The suspects were identified as alleged drug pusher Eligio Baloca, 39, and his suspected buyer Melchor Gitgano, 37, both residents of Antequera.
Police said that both men previously surrendered under the Philippine National Police’s Oplan Tokhang.
In a report, authorities said Baloca was spotted selling illegal drugs in Barangay Villa Aurora prompting them to set up the sting operation.
Baloca then allegedly sold shabu worth P500 to an undercover cop leading to his immediate arrest
He was collared by Antequera police operatives along with Gitgano who was with him during the operation.
Both men who will be facing drug possession charges are now detained at the Antequera Police Station lock-up cell.
Baloca meanwhile will also be charged with sale of illegal drugs. (wm)
