A man allegedly involved in illegal drug activities was killed after he was shot multiple times by an unidentified gunman at around 5pm yesterday in Barangay Canhaway, Guindulman.

According to PO3 Darwin Reyes of the Guindulman police, the victim, Alvin Cagas who is a resident of Barangay Buyog in Jagna died on the spot.

Agas sustained seven gunshot wounds which caused his death, Reyes said.

Upon searching Cagas’ body, Police found 14 small packets of suspected shabu in the victim’s possession.

Guindulman authorities continue to conduct an investigation to identify the gunman and motive behind Cagas’ killing. (with reports from Rey Tutas)
