Amid the cheers of spectators came an interlude of silence when the masters of ceremony started to announce the next heir and heiress to the throne of Mr and Miss UB Personality 2015. This time the judges casted the dice in favor of the younger candidates from the University High School Mr Julmar Joseph B. Misa and Miss Raclaire Stephan C. Trigo.
During the Pageant Night held last Thursday, September 18, 2015, nine pairs went center stage and showed their best to the amazement of the jam-packed crowd at the university quadrangle. Earlier in Monday during the Talent Night ,  the University High School candidates already gained advantage when they both bagged the Mr and Miss Talent Awards.  The reigning personalities will  succeed the titles from Mr UB Personality 2014 Voltaire Alvin R. Tutor of VDT-ALC and Miss UB Personality 2014 Nathalla L. Bullecer of the College of Nursing
. Other winners are, 1st runners-up – Patrick Louie C. Birad and Bea Rosari B. Supanga (VDT-ALC), 2nd runners-up – Rodel A. Jamito (CET) and Rizalee Rose S. Razo (COC), 3rd runners-up – Rodulfo B. Malto Jr. (COC) and Rosemarie M. Cabigon (CBA), 4th runners-up – Mark Dave D. Abad (CON) and Pitchie D. Auxtero (Pharm).
For other awards, Best in Interview – Julmar Joseph B. Misa (UHS) and Rosemarie M. Cabigon (CBA), Best in Casual Wear – Julmar Joseph B. Misa and Raclaire Stephan C. This year’s Search for Mr & Miss UB Personality was hosted by Miss Manibel Manuta and former Mr UB Personality Kent Chester Ochea. The members of the Search Committee are Dr. Janice Aurora Tirol -chairman, Dr. Lemuel Belarmino – vice chairman, Mr. VidaL Platino Jr. – choreographer and Dr. Lumin T. Pamaran- consultant.
In the UB Intramurals, the College of Criminology (COC) officially entered the Hall of Fame when it clinched the championship title for five consecutive years. This is the first time in the history of the university that a department established a record of five straight championships. In an interview, Dean Jesus Acullador, credited the feat of their department to the team work and camaraderie of its players and the support of the faculty members and students.
Meanwhile, Victoriano D Tirol –Advanced Learning Center which maintained dominance in the swimming competition continue to grip the second place with the College of Business and Accountancy claiming the next lower spot.
