It’s a thumbs up for the University High School of the University of Bohol after its delegates bagged medals during the Tagbilaran City Schools Division Press Conference held on October 1-2,2015.
Topping the list of winners is Lou RhizelleTrabajo who placed first in Newswriting (English), second in Sports Writing (English) and second highest individual pointer. Other placers include, Elizabeth Palacat – 3rd place, Editorial Cartooning (English), Shaira Nicole Arabiana – 2nd place, Photo Journalism (English), Emma Sapphire Duroy – 2nd place, Photo Journalism (English), Lady Aira Angela Lumantas – 3rd place, Photo Journalism (Filipino) and Joan Bongato – 4th place, Sports Writing (Filipino). The broadcasting team (English) of the department also bagged 4thplace with members, Christian Faith Malate, Dennisa Loraine Owen, Julmar Joseph Misa, KiannaGavinneGilay, Princess Jewel Piquero, Princess ShaemelPorpor and WindellGabuya. The team is under the tutelage of Mrs. JheinenaClarin, coach and Ms. Jeanette Vidal, assistant coach.
In a related development,  theUHS Basketball Varsity team clinched the first runner up trophy during  the Bohol Schools Athletic Association Meet 2015.
