A Star Music artist, Michael Pangilinan is also a part of The X-Factor Philippines Season 1 where KZ Tandingan emerged as the Grand Winner. Michael is also considered by many as the Harana Prince and Kilabot ng mga Kolehiyala.
In the Grand Showdown of “Your Face Sounds Familiar†Season 2 last December 12 and 13, Michael bested three other celebrity finalists Sam Concepcion, KZ Tandingan, and Kean Cipriano of Callalily to become a runner-up to the eventual champion, actress/singer Denise Laurel.
