A burglar broke into the office of the Doctor Cecilio Putong National High School (DCPNHS) Parents – Teachers Association (PTA) last night, Wednesday, April 20, 2016 and carted away cash estimated at P100,000.00.

Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) mounted along the entrance to the PTA office caught the burglar sneaking into the hall leading to the PTA office.

But the robber covered his face to avoid detection by the surveillance camera

A sharp eyed student stumbled on the robbery at 7 in the morning, Thursday after shards of broken glass from glass panes of a bent window grill wrenched off from it’s wooden frame were strewn on the hallway.

The burglar apparently gained easy entrance through the gap between the wooden window and bent iron grills.

The stolen money was stashed inside a drawer that was probably found by the burglar after rummaging through the office furniture.

The robbery is still under investigation by police authorities. (Chito M. Visarra)
