After a very successful alumni inter-batch tournament, Play for the Scholars 3, which culminated in April of this year, another tournament will be launched on May 22 at the Janssen Gym of Holy Name University.
Dubbed as ‘Play for the Scholars 4’, the upcoming sports event will be another showdown of batches but no longer in basketball and volleyball. This time, it will be a clash of teams in badminton and lawn tennis.
This is another fund-raising event organized by the Holy Name University alumni Association-Tagbilaran, Inc. (HNUAA-TI) in partnership with Holy Name University.
As in previous alumni tournaments organized by the HNUAA-TI, ‘Play for the Scholars 4’ aims to strengthen the interconnectedness among alumni batches, provide a venue where the pursuit of wellness among the alumni can be promoted, strengthen the bond between the alumni and the HNU family and raise funds for the HNUAA-TI Scholarship Program.
Interested participants may register at the HNU Alumni Affairs and Job Placement Office (AAJPO) on or before May 16, 2016.
