A female alleged drug pusher evaded police arrest during a drug bust operation conducted by the Getafe police in the said town Thursday morning.
However, the operatives proceeded to search the house of the suspect, Josephine Torregosa, in Purok 2, Campao Oriental in Getafe as the alleged dealer fled.
According to SPO2 Francisco Lugod Jr. of the Getafe police, the raiding team found three packs of suspected shabu inside Torregosa’s house.
Although the suspect eluded arrest, charges will be filed against her, Lugod said.
Torregosa’s husband is an inmate at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City convicted of drug charges.
Meanwhile, Lugod said that six drug personalities yielded to authorities in the town as a result of Oplan Tokhang during the past week.
The Getafe police are optimistic that more drug personalities will turn themselves in while the government is giving them a chance to change their ways and stop their involvement in illegal activities. (with reports from Rey Tutas)Â
