As indicated in the same data, 7,773 homes of suspected drug personalities were visited by police and barangay officials as part of Oplan Tokhang.
Ubay recorded the highest number of drug pushers and users who surrendered to authorities at 1,600.
The second district municipality is followed by the towns of Candijay, 1,061, and Jagna, 847, according to the latest data gathered by DYRD.
The municipality of Dagohoy tallied only 85, the least among towns.
According to PSSupt Noli Taliño, director of the Region 7 police, more drug personalities surrendered in Bohol compared to Cebu and Siquijor.
During the installation of Bohol police chief PSSupt Felipe Natividad two days ago, Taliño bared that only 12,000 drug personalities surrendered to Cebu police and officials.
Taliño also said that Oplan Tokhang has been a chief factor behind the rising number of drug personalities who have yielded to police and town officials.
The BPPO expects more drug personalities to surrender and pledge to stop drug use and peddling in the coming days as the operation continues to be conducted throughout towns in the province. (with reports from Rey Tutas and Allen Doydora)
