The exciting quest for Miss Bohol 2016 will be concluded tonight in a glittering coronation to be staged at the Bohol Wisdom School Gym, 8 pm

With cultural relevance, Boholano creativity & entertainment value in mind, the 2016 Miss Bohol Pageant promises to be an evening of glamour & a showcase of the rich cultural heritage of the Boholanos. All 16 beauty delegates from the 15 participating municipalities and the city of Tagbilaran will be spotlighted in a spectacular opening number and compete in the swimwear, onstage personality interviews and Filipiniana gown segments before they will be whittled down to the five finalists from which Miss Bohol 2016 and her court will be selected.

Hosting the three- hour pageant are actor/ model Troy Montero & Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Angelee Claudette de los Reyes. Among the judges are   Miss World Philippines Franchise Holder Ms. Cory Quirino, designers Frederick Peralta & Albert Andrada with actor- singer Michael Pangilinan, the 1st Runner Up in ABS CBN’s “Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 2” serenading the girls and entertaining the crowd.

The young ladies have gone through series of scrutinizing activities to define what it takes to be crowned as the next Miss Bohol. Starting from their first public appearance during the presentation to the press at the Be Grand Resort in Panglao last June 25, and the Talents’ Night last Sunday.

The 16 finalists for Miss Bohol 2016 are: Ritzi Lague (Lila), Ashley Nicole Collamat (Jagna), Quir Nicole Maghuyop (Loboc),  Pearl Dianne Bungabong (Alburquerque), Queenie Mae Bacquial (Sevilla), Judy Ann Cimafranca (Dauis), Tanya Bianca Scheurrs (Garcia Hernandez), April Matiz Marie Mahier (Carlos P. Garcia), Lovely Sheena Empuesto (Talibon), Olive Jean Zoilo (Tubigon), Karen Jane Ilagan (Duero), Glyssa Perez (Danao), Catherine Tabaniag (Panglao), Ricka Theresa Geangan (Balilihan), Queenebeth Barcelona (Tagbilaran City) and Bretziel Laurel (Loon).

Miss Bohol 2014 Queenie Melody Fullante advised the beauties, saying that “what is important is that you let who you are shine and you have the heart for what you do.” The new Miss Bohol 2016 will receive the crown gtom Miss Bohol 2015 Mary Eda Cimafranca.

The longest- running and most prestigious beauty competition which marks the 90th year since its debut in 1926 is organized by the JCI Chocolate Hills Lady Jaycees under Club President Queenie Melody Fullante with Bohol First Lady Madame Pureza Veloso Chatto as Project Chair.

Tickets are at P500, P300 & P200. General admission is P100.
