A top drug suspect and five other alleged drug personalities were rounded up by the police in a buy-bust operation conducted Monday, July 25, 2016 in Clarin town.
The Clarin police collared 46-year-old Jack Ceñal, the operation’s primary target, after he, and two others sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer.
Police recovered packets of suspected shabu from Ceñal, a resident of Barangay Bacani in Clarin and his companions who are also from said village, Isagani Cañete,33, and Esterio “Quino†Taloy, 33.
The three suspects were included in Clarin authorities’ list of top drug personalities and have previously surrendered as drug pushers through Oplan Tokhang but have continued to conduct their illegal operations.
The operatives were also able to apprehend suspected drug users, namely Joselito Retura, Jose Bonggot, and Rodel Duallo who are also from the said barangay, during the buy-bust.
Police caught the three alleged users engaging in a pot session.
Authorities today filed charges against the suspects at the Bohol Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Tagbilaran City. (Willy Maetsrado)
