Guindulman police apprehended two of the town’s top drug suspects in separate drug busts in the wee hours of Thursday.
Municipal police operatives set up the first drug raid against Carlos Kiamko, the town’s number four alleged drug personality, at 12:40 a.m.
Armed with a search warrant issued by a Loay judge, the police conducted the raid at the suspect’s residence in Barangay Tabajan, Guindulman which is identified as a drug hotspot.
The raiding team was able to sieze suspected shabu contained in two large packs and 10 smaller-sized packets and drug paraphernalia.
Twenty minutes after the arrest of Kiamko, another Guindulman police team raided the home of the town’s number three alleged drug personality at Barangay Canhaway a few kilometers away from the first drug bust.
The suspect was identified as Marvin Peliño, a resident of the said village.
He yielded  one large pack and five packets of suspected shabu, police said.
According to authorities of the Guindulman police, the two had surrendered through Oplan Tokhang, but continued to sell illegal drugs.
Kiamko and Peliño are detained at the lock-up jail Guindulman while authorities are set to file cases against them at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. (Allen Doydora)
