A woman and four men allegedly involved in illegal drug activities were arrested in separate dawn buy-bust operations conducted on Tuesday in Ubay.

The female suspect, identified as April Mae Horbina, 24, was arrested near her residence in Brgy. Ubujan, Tubigon.

Horbina was allegedly caught red-handed selling shabu to police poseur-buyer.

She was also reportedly in possession of other packets of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Following Horbina’s arrest, another buy-bust was conducted in the same barangay.

The suspect, identified as Rodel Muan, 27, also allegedly made a drug transaction with an undercover policeman which resulted in his arrest.

Operatives also found suspected shabu in his possession as he was frisked.

During the operation against Muan at his residence, police also chanced upon three other drug personalities while two of them were allegedly caught in the act of using illegal drugs.

The suspects identified as Meponiño Meneses, 23, a brgy. tanod who also surrendered through Oplan Tokhang; Edwin Bustalinio, 33; and Loren Santorce, 36, all residents of Pinayagan Sur, Tubigon, were also arrested by police. (Allen Doydora)
