Three suspected drug dealers in Tagbilaran City were arrested in separate anti-drug operations conducted over the weekend.
Anti-narcotics operatives of the Tagbilaran City police on Sunday evening collared Waryn Galapin in Barangay Booy in the city.
An undercover policeman of the City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Group (CAIDSOTG) reportedly bought shabu from the suspect at 6:30 p.m.
Following the transaction, other CAIDSOTG operatives led by SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay Jr. moved in to arrest Galapin.
On Saturday, the Tagbilaran City police set up another sting operation against Eric “Tambok†Elle at 5:50 p.m.
The suspect, a resident of Ligason St. Brgy. Bool, was arrested along Peñaflor, Taloto-Ubajan Rd., Tagbilaran City.
A police poseur-buyer was able to successfully transact with the alleged pusher, resulting in his immediate arrest.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were four packets of shabu and drug sorting paraphernalia including a digital weighing scale and a container believed to have been used to store drugs.
Three hours after Elle’s arrest, another alleged pusher was arrested in Tagbilaran City. This time, in Brgy. Taloto.
Police identified the suspect as George Chui II who was also subjected to a buy-bust operation.
He was allegedly caught red-handed selling P500 worth of shabu to a police posing as a buyer.
The three suspects are currently jailed at the detention facility of the Tagbilaran City police station pending the filing of charges against them. (Rey Tutas)
