Ten drug suspects on Wednesday were rounded up by police in a buy-bust in Tagbilaran CIty against an alleged drug pusher listed in the Bohol police watch list of drug personalities.
Members of the Provincial Public Safety Company Special Weapons and Tactics (PPSC-SWAT) unit conducted the operation against Julius Jaula, a resident of Sitio Karaw-an, Brgy. Dampas in the city.
According to police, they spotted Jaula selling illegal drugs near a suspected drug den being maintained by the alleged pusher inside his residence.
This prompted operatives to set up the buy-bust against Jaula who reportedly attempted to elude arrest.
Police said that after the drug transaction, the suspect ran towards his drug den where he and ten others were caught.
Authorities identified the alleged users caught inside the drug den as Jick Marimon, 48; Rodolfo Gumayao, 31; Angelito Baay, 20; Andrew Abanto, 33; Zosimo Miao, 44; Ricky Sampoton, 18; Jaime Cadungod, 30; Edel Somostrada, 35; and Arlene Nunez, 21.
According to PPSC-SWAT chief Supt. Patricio Degay Jr., Jaulo is also listed in the Tagbilaran City watch list of drug personalities.
Jaulo and the other suspects are detained at the lock-up jail at Camp Dagohoy pending the filing of drug charges against them. (Willy Maetsrado)Â
