Tagbilaran City police early Thursday arrested a 17-year-old minor for allegedly selling illegal drugs in Prk. 6, Brgy. Manga in the city.
Policemen of the City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Group (CIADSOTG) conducted a buy-bust against the suspect at 6 a.m. which resulted in his arrest.
According to CAIDSOTG operative PO1 Ray Neil Bibat, the minor handed over shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P500 which was received by the suspectâ€™s companion, Leo Subingsubing, 37.
Police then arrested both suspects right in front Subingsubingâ€™s residence in Brgy. Manga.
Recovered in the suspectsâ€™ possession were assorted sizes of suspected shabu packs estimated to be worth P30,000.
Subingsubing is now detained at the lock-up jail of the Tagbilaran City police while the arrested minor is in the custody of the Women and Children Protection Desk of the city police station.
The 17-year-old is scheduled to be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development office in Tagbilaran CIty.
According to police, Subingsubing surrendered to authorities through Oplan Tokhang but the minor however did not yield. (Allen Doydora and Rey Tutas) Â
