4 weekend busts

Four drug personalities in Tagbilaran City and Dauis were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted over the weekend.

Three of the suspects, all Tagbilran City residents, were collared on Saturday by police along Pamaong Extension in the city during an anti-drug operation.

Police identified the alleged drug personalities as Maxwell Ragas and Edjohn Manluluyo, the buy-bust subjects, and Paul Magallanes.

Ragas and Manluluyo were reportedly spotted by police selling drugs prompting operatives to set the sting operation while Magallanes was in the operation area with shabu in his possession.

According to SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay, Magallanes previously suurendered through Oplan Tokhang while the other two suspects are newly identified drug pushers.

In a Sunday buy-bust, Dauis police arrested 40-year-old Conrad Celedio, a resident of Brgy. Totalan of the said town.

Celedio was allegedly seen by police on Sunday afternoon as he was selling illegal drugs in the said village.

Inspector Gerard Luna, chief of the Dauis police, said that the suspect is a Tokhang surrenderee but continued to sell illegal drugs after yielding to Dauis authorities.

A total of nine sachets were confiscated from the four suspects of the two anti-drug operations. (Willy Maetsrado)
