Bohol police arrested early Tuesday an alleged newly known drug personality whose illegal drug operation quickly grew and gained notoriety in Tagbilaran City.
The suspect, 37-year-old Ryan Tindoy of Brgy. Bool in the city, was arrested by joint units of the Provincial Public Safety Company and Special Weapons and Tactics (PPSC-SWAT) team in a buy-bust conducted at Circumferential Rd., Poblacion III.
Chief of PPSC and SWAT Supt. Patricio Degay said that Tindoy frequented Cebu while suspicions on his involvement in the drug trade had been raised, prompting police to monitor the suspect’s movements.
Upon Tindoy’s arrival in Tagbilaran City, he was immediately spotted by police while he was allegedly dealing drugs.
The PPSC and SWAT then set up the sting operation against Tindoy who was reportedly caught red-handed selling shabu to an undercover cop.
Police then arrested the suspect who yielded three packets of suspected shabu including the one sold to the police buyer.
Tindo is currently detained at the lock-up jail in Camp Dagohoy in Tagbilaran City while authorities prepare to file drug charges against him. (Willy Maestrado)Â
