Police arrested on Tuesday an ex-convict who was allegedly caught in possession of shabu in an anti-drug operation conducted in Tagbilaran City.
Police identified the suspect as 32-yearl-old Joel Manlalabo, a resident of Ma.Clara, Barangay Poblacion 2 in the city.
The raid was immediately set up by city police after gathering information indicating that  Manlabao was conducting illegal drug activities.
Manlabao’s residence was raided through a search warrant issued by Executive Presiding Judge Suceso Arcamo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 47.
Police said that the anti-drug operation yielded shabu contained in two large plastic packs and six sachets and .45 caliber bullets.
According PO4 Yolando Bagotchay, team leader of the raiding team, Manlabao is a recently identified drug personality.
The suspect is currently detained at the lock-up jail in Tagbilaran City as authorities prepare to file charges against him. (Wellie Maestrado)
