There are no rest days for anti-narcotics policemen in Tagbilaran City.

Amid a holiday, members of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group arrested an alleged drug pusher in a sting operation on Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect, identified as Marlon Carreon, 39, was arrested in an alleged drug den at his residence in Purok 4, Barangay Manga, Tagbilaran City.

Carreon was immediately collared by operatives led by SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay after allegedly selling shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer.

Police said that Carreon yielded three more packets of shabu as he was frisked.

According to Bagotchay, Carreon’s drug den is frequented by drug users in Tagbilaran City and neighboring towns.

He said that Carreon surrendered after being subjected to Oplan Tokhang but continued to sell illegal drugs.

Carreon is currently detained at the lock-up jail of the Tagbilaran City police while authorities prepare to file drug charges against him. (Allen Doydora)
