The Diocese of Tagbilaran will be conducting an outreach program through a medical mission in the city as part of its diamond jubilee which starts Sunday.
Chancellor of the diocese Fr. Agerio Paña said that the activity themed “Breaking bread through service†will be held at the Bohol Cultural Center tomorrow after a mass celebrated by Bishop Leonardo Medroso at the St.Joseph’s Cathedral.
According to Paña, a free clinic will be available at the event while medicine and consultation will also be provided.
Doctors and health personnel of the Cathedral and Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital have already been chosen for the medical mission, he added.
The three-day diamond jubilee will gather Boholano clergy from all over the country including eight bishops as they take part in a series of activities to commemorate the diocese’s 75th year. (Rey Tutas)Â
