A self-confessed drug personality who is listed in the watch list of the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) and Cebu City Police Office was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City.
Operatives of the BPPO Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) collared suspect Felixiano Claro, 36, a resident of Brgy. Ubujan, on Saturday evening.
Claro was immediately arrested after allegedly selling shabu worth P500 to a police officer posing as a buyer.
According to PIB team leader P/Chief Insp. Rolando Antipolo, Claro yielded 1.05 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of 12,290.
Antipolo said that Claro surrendered under Oplan Tokhang twice but continued to conduct illegal drug activities.
The suspect is now facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II, of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Weli Maestrado)
