A couple owner of a farming supply store in Ubay were robbed of P65,000 by two motorcycle-riding men with one of them armed past 9 p.m. on Monday.
Based on initial police investigation, victims Eliezar Amolat, 38, and wife Eliana Amolat, 37, were held up by unidentified men outside their residence in Purok 1, Barangay Lomangog, Ubay.
The Amolats came from their store in Barangay Poblacion, Ubay, on board their Mitsubishi Adventure when one of the two masked men pulled out a firearm and declared a robbery while they were waiting for the gate of their house to be opened.
The suspects then took a sling bag containing money from Eiliana and immediately fled toward an unknown direction.
According to the victims, the suspects who they were unable to identify may have followed them from the store to their house.
The red and black XRM motorcycle also did not have a plate number, added the Amolats.
Ubay police are set to conduct further investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects. (Allen Doydora)Â
