The Tagbilaran City police will sustain its intensified anti-drug drive in a bid to clear the province’s capital of illegal drugs before the year ends, said Supt. Nicomedes Olaivar, city chief of police.

According to Olaivar, the city police last week requested the Brgy. Anti- Drug Abuse Council to submit data on drug suspects who have not been subjected to Oplan Tokhang as part of its clearing operations.

He said that they also continue to work with the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in conducting anti-drug operations in Tagbilaran City.

For its part, the city government claimed that it has prepared a livelihood program for self-confessed drug personalities who surrendered and vowed to cut involvement in illegal drug activities.
