Two female drug suspects were caught by National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents allegedly selling illegal drugs in Barangay Poblacion III, Tagbilaran City on Thursday.

According to Atty. Arcelito Albao, team leader of the NBI operatives, the two suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation.

An undercover agent reportedly bought shabu worth P1,000 from suspect Leah Galve, a 44-year-old resident of Hontanosas cor. Matig-a, Poblacion III.

The purchased shabu was then handed over to the poseur-buyer by another suspect identified as 32-year-old Analie Lumbab, also a resident of Matig-a Street.

Albao said that the NBI found out of the two suspects’ operation through information provided by arrested drug suspect Levi Fronteras.

Fronteras was arrested by NBI operatives on Wednesday night at a lodging house along M. Parras Street, Tagbilaran City also in a sting operation.
