A dead man whose body was already starting to decompose was found below a cliff in Barangay Lumanoy, Lila.

According to the Lila Police Station, the rotting body was discovered at around 4 p.m. by residents who went for a swim in the area.

Police said that the body was no longer identifiable as it was already in an advance state of decomposition.

This prompted authorities to conduct an autopsy on the body to identify him and the cause of his death. Results have not yet been released.

According to the Lila police, a man was reported missing ten days ago but they still have not confirmed if he was the one found below the cliff. (Allen Doydora)
