Intelligence units of the Bohol Provincial Police Office on Monday arrested in Inabanga a man tagged as high-value target in the BPPO drug watch list.
Suspect Reje Cabaral, a barangay councilor of Ilaud, Inabanga, was caught in possession of 10.05 grams of shabu estimated to be worth P118,500.
Policemen of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) and Inabanga nabbed 46-year-old Cabaral in a midnight raid conducted at his home.
Led by P/Chief Insp. Rolando Antipolo of the PIB and Inabanga police chief Senior Insp. Marcos Lopez, the operatives carried out the raid bearing a search warrant issued by Judge Jennifer Chavez-Marcos, vice-executive judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 2.
According to the PIB, Cabaral is a “level 1 target†in Bohol who surrendered under Oplan Tokhang on Novermber 9.
However, Cabaral allegedly continued to deal illegal drugs in Inabanga following his surrender.
The suspect was taken into PIB custody and detained pending the filing of drug charges against him.
