An employee of the Bohol Quality Corporation was found dead inside his living space at a construction bunkhouse on Tuesday.
Police identified the fatality as 50-year-old Jimmy Mahasol, a steelman for BQ.
According to PO1 Joseph Elic, criminal investigator for the Tagbilaran police, there were no indications that foul play was involved in the death of Mahasol.
For her part, Dr. Teomin Casano of the City Health Office, said that Mahasol died of acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as heart attack.
Based on statements from Mahasol’s co-workers, he did not report for work prompting them to search the bunkhouse.
They reportedly found Mahasol sprawled on the floor facing the ground and had been foaming at the mouth.
Elic said that some of the other employees noted that Mahasol had been drinking prior to his death. (WM)
