Petroleum companies today implemented a price hike on pump prices after global oil prices surged last week.
Price on fuel products hiked by over P1 per liter across all fuel products starting at 12:01 in Metro Manila while provinces including Bohol followed suit shortly after.
Pump price increases of P1.45 per liter of kerosene and P1.45 per liter of gasoline were announced earlier today.
In Bohol, however, prices vary in different locations as retailers in Tagbilaran City have higher prices than those in towns such as Ubay.
Diesel products at the Petron station in Tagbilaran City are sold at P31.95 while pump price in Petron  Ubay for diesel is at P30.75.
Unleaded gasoline in the same oil firm’s station in the city is sold at P39.65, P1 to P2 higher than in Ubay. (Allen Doydora)
