The school district supervisor of Sevilla has been charged with sexual harassment after allegedly committing sexual assault against a woman in Tagbilaran City.
Authorities identified the suspect as Marcelo Dapar, a resident of Barangay Calinginan, Sevilla.
According to P02 Ana Marie Ligue of the Women and Children’s Protection Desk of the Tagbilaran City Police Station, the incident took place in Barangay Taloto at past 12 p.m. on May 25.
Ligue said that the sexual harassment case has been filed against Dapar but the suspect has already been released from police custody.
The police officer did not further disclose details but clarified that the suspect was not able to rape the victim who she said is of legal age.
For her part, Bohol Schools Division Supt. Wilfreda Bongalos said that an administrative case has been filed against Dapar before the department’s regional office.
Bongalos also refused to elaborate on details regarding the case of her subordinate. (AD)
