Two alleged drug personalities were arrested by police in Panglao during a buy-bust operation in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Ramil Entece, 42, of Minglanilla in Cebu and Henry Calvari, 43, of Poblacion 2, Tagbilaran City were allegedly peddling drugs on board a multicab.
This prompted anti-narcotics operatives of the Panglao police to immediately set the sting operation against the suspects at 12:30 a.m.
Both suspects then reportedly sold shabu worth P500 to an undercover cop which led to their immediate arrest by policemen stationed around the buy-bust area.
According to authorities, both suspects yielded shabu weighing 2.5 grams with an estimated street value of P29,500.
According to Panglao police chief Sr. Insp. Jomar Pomarejos, Entece who is temporarily living in Barangay Bolod of the said town is included in their drug watch list while Calvario is the suspect’s known associate.
Both suspects are now detained at the Panglao lock-up jail pending the filing of drug charges against them. (Weli Matesrado)
