After getting intelligence information that Pamaong  continued with his illegal activity of peddling shabu, the city’s DEU conducted surveillance operation and later, the buy-bust operation when it was confirmed that he indeed continued to engage in peddling shabu.

During the buy-bust operation, the poseur-buyer successfully bought a sachet of shabu from Pamaong using the marked money of P200.

The day before, the DEU also arrested another Oplan yielder, identified as one Albert Ano, a28-year-old resident in Purok 7, Poblacion 2.

The buy-bust team caught Ano handing a sachet of shabu to the poseur-buyer upon receiving the marked money amounting P300 during the transaction at Gallares St.

According to Regidor, Ano remained in the watchlist of drug personalities of the city police despite having yielded himself to Oplan Tokhang earlier, because it was found out in the follow-up operations that he continued to sell shabu.

The buy-bust team confiscated five packs of shabu from Ano with estimated weight of 1.2 grams and estimated street value of P15,700.

The Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded focuses more on entrapment operations and avoid operations based on search warrants, since it had been observed in the past operations that most drug personalities being served with search warrants tend to engage in shootout which often resulted to the deaths.
