The Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Bohol Chapter is set to hold an assembly featuring its first ever sportsfest which will be held in Anda starting tomorrow.
The three-day event will be joined by the PCL’s 432 members including the 48 Liga ng mga Barangay presidents of the province.
PCL Bohol president and ex-officio Provincial Board (PB) Member Gloria Gementiza told DYRD Balita that the assembly will be highlighted by various sports competitions among the province’s city and municipal legislators.
The town of Anda was chosen for its wide available space which can accommodate the PCL’s activities, said Gementiza.
According to the PB member, Governor Edgar Chatto is expected to attend the assembly as guest speaker.
Bohol’s three congressmen and other PB members including Board Member Venzencio Arcomo who is acting vice governor are also expected to attend the event. (R. Tutas)
