A man wanted for frustrated murder allegedly committed in Misamis Oriental was arrested by police in Loboc on Tuesday afternoon.
SPO1 Ricky Remata of the Inabanga Police Station identified the suspect as Armand Estoce, a 33-year-old resident of Barangay Cawayan of said town.
According to Remata, Estoce was spotted by police in Barangay Bugho, Loboc prompting operatives to serve an arrest warrant against him.
Estoce was collared by joint operatives of the Inabanga and Loboc police who carried an arrest warrant issued by Judge Marissa P. Estabaya of Regional Trial Court Branch 44 in Misamais Oriental.
The crime was allegedly committed by Estoce in 2014 against a Misamis Oriental resident, said Remata.
According to the police officer, Estoce was placed under the custody of the Inabanga police but is set to be transferred to Misamis Oriental where he will be facing the frustrated murder case lodged against him.
“We are already set to coordinate with authorities in Misamis for the transfer,” said Remata in Cebuano. (WM)
