An alleged drug personality who was previously arrested for illegal drugs was again collared in an anti-narcotics operation in Loboc on Tuesday.

Joint operatives of the Loboc police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested suspect Jay Colina, 41, in a raid conducted at his home in Barangay Alegria of said town.

In a report, police said that Colina was caught in possession of 10 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P118,000 and drug paraphernalia.

The raid was carried out through a search warrant issued by Judge Lindecita Arcamo, executive presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 50 in Loay.

According to Loboc police chief SPO4 Virgilio Doria, the suspect previously surrendered under Oplan Tokhang and had admitted to involvement in illegal drug trade.

However, recent police monitoring operations indicated that Colina continued his illegal drug activities after having surrendered to authorities.

Charges including possession and sale of illegal drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia are set to be filed against Colina who remains under police custody. (Weli Maestrado)
