A high value-target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and his alleged associate were arrested in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday.

The suspects were the first and second of five drug arrests made in a single night by the five-strong PDEA Bohol.

High-value target Ramuelito Remolador, 47, was subjected to a buy-bust operation wherein he allegedly sold shabu worth P5,500 to an undercover PDEA agent.

This was after Remolador, a collector for the Bohol Water Utilities, Inc., and one Ryan Castro, 35, were spotted selling illegal drugs, authorities said.

After the transaction was made, Remolador allegedly ran from the arresting operatives but was eventually cornered inside his home with Castro.

Both have been detained at Camp Dagohoy in Tagbilaran City while authorities prepared to file charges for violation against Section of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
