Suspects (Back, L-R) Joemar Pelayre, Steven Dolauta and Clint Paparon undergo booking process at the PDEA office in Tagbilaran City.

A priority target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and two of his companions were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation on Wednesday.

Authorities identified the target as Joemar Pilayre, 30, a resident of Barangay Poblacion 3 in Tagbilaran City.

In a report, the PDEA said that Pilayre was spotted selling illegal drugs along Gallares Street across Lite Port Center prompting police to set the sting operation.

An undercover PDEA agent then carried out a staged drug transaction with Pilayre who was allegedly with associate Steven Dolauta, 27, and a suspected buyer, identified as Clint Paparon, 29.

The poseur-buyer reportedly paid P500 to Pilayre while Dolauta handed over suspected shabu leading to the arrest of the three men.
