Meanwhile, the suspect fled the crime scene but was later on the same day arrested by police who launched a hot pursuit operation.

Indoyon was allegedly caught in possession of a loaded .45 caliber pistol which was believed to be the gun used to shoot the victim.

According to police investigator SPO4 Cesario Sumaylo, they have not yet pinpointed the motive behind the shooting.

Indoyon has not been answering questions during interrogation, Sumaylo said.

However, in a follow-up interview conducted by dyRD Balita, a neighbor of the suspect who spoke on condition of anonymity said that jealousy may have been the reason behind the shooting.

Indoyon, when high on drugs, allegedly accuses his wife of cheating on him with Carolino based on the neighbor’s statement. (W. Maestrado)
