Husband and wife drug suspects Reygie Mohametano and Benigna “Madame Brenda” Mohametano were arrested by police in a drug raid at their house in Sitio San Vicente in Barangay Bingag, Dauis at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

A 39-year-old man and his 62-year-old wife were arrested in a drug raid conducted at their home in Barangay Bingag, Dauis on Tuesday morning.

According to Dauis police chief Sr. Insp. Gerard Luna who led the drug bust, both suspects who are listed in their drug watch list as priority targets yielded shabu worth P105,000.

Suspects Reygie Mohametano and Benigna “Madame Brenda” Mohametano were allegedly caught with the suspected shabu weighing 7 grams and drug paraphernalia inside their house during the raid.

The police operatives carried out the drug bust through a search warrant issued by Judge Suceso Arcamo, executive presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 47 in Tagbilaran City.

Both suspects are now detained at the Dauis police lock-up jail.

They will be charged for possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. (wm)
