A 37-year-old man on Monday was arrested in a drug raid that yielded several packets of suspected shabu.

Police identified the arrested suspect as Noel Apayor, a resident of Habitat Village in Barangay Tabalong, Dauis.

According to police, operatives of the Dauis Police Station served a search warrant issued by Judge Suceso Arcamo, executive presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 47, at Apayor’s residence on Monday afternoon.

Authorities were able to seize 13 packets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu upon searching Apayor’s house, police said.

According to Dauis police chief Sr. Insp. Gerard Luna, Apayor is a newly identified drug personality who operated within the town.

The suspect is now detained at the Dauis police lock-up jail.

He will be charged for possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, Luna said. (wm)
