Two alleged drug dealers were allegedly caught in possession of P165,000 worth of shabu in a police anti-drug operation in Panglao at dawn on Sunday.

Police identified the arrested men as Franklin Degamo, 33, and Wilmar Bulawan, 30, both of Barangay Caboy in Clarin.

Panglao police operatives led by the town’s chief of police Sr. Insp. Geronimo Conarco set up the operation against Degamo and Bulawan after receiving reports indicating that both were selling illegal drugs in Barangay Danao.

In a report, police said that they arrested Degamo and Bulawan after a poseur-buyer was able to buy shabu worth P500 from both men.

Police also seized a .45 caliber pistol loaded with live ammunition from Degamo’s possession and more packets of suspected shabu from both men following the arrest.

Both men were detained at the Panglao police lock-up jail pending the filing of charges against them. (WM)
