Burglars allegedly broke into a travel agency in Panglao and took P91,000 in cash in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to PO1 Mark Yana of the Panglao Police Station, an employee of the establishment, Marichou Datayan, discovered at around 5 a.m. on the same day that their office’s main door was forcibly opened
The suspects also broke into the office’s steel cabinet where the cash was kept.
Based on initial police investigation, the burglary took place between 12:00 midnight and 4 a.m., said Yana.
Police however are still facing a blank wall as to the identities of the suspects.
Yana said that the memory cards of the office’ closed circuit television cameras, for both inside and outside the establishment, were missing when they examined the device.
The travel agency, owned by ne Esther Boetsch, had no security personnel guarding the office. (AD)
