A man previously convicted of frustrated murder was shot dead by four still unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants in Inabanga at past 2 p.m. on Monday.

The victim was still rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival as he succumbed to seven gunshot wounds in his head and across his body.

PO1 Joel Cenita of the Inabanga police said that the fatality, identified as Michael Lao, 36, of Barangay Luyo of said town, went out of his house to get clothes hanged outside to dry when the suspects on board two motorcycles stopped in front of him.
