A live-in couple suspected of peddling illegal drugs and two of their buyers were arrested by police during a drug buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City on Thursday afternoon.

Police said that all four alleged drug personalities were caught in possession of 63 sachets of shabu which were estimated to be worth P64,000.

Intelligence operatives of the Tagbilaran City police led by Sr. Insp. Vincent Dumaguing spotted one of the suspects, Hazel Suete, as she was allegedly selling illegal drugs.

She was then subjected to a buy-bust operation near her residence in Purok 5 Barangay Taloto but it was her live-in partner, Eduardo Montero, who handed over shabu worth P500 to an undercover cop.

Police arrested both suspects including two of their alleged buyers Ruben Niones and Jerel Intab who were with them during the operation.

The four of them were taken in to police custody and set to be charged with violations against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (wm)
