A 25-year-old woman was arrested by police for alleged sale of illegal drugs in Panglao.
The suspected drug dealer, Jaysa Mari Miranda, a native of Villalimpia in Loay was apprehended through a drug buy-bust operation on Thursday night.
Miranda was allegedly spotted selling illegal drugs at Purok 7 in Barangay Danao, Panglao prompting police to set the sting operation in motion.
Police said that Miranda sold shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer leading to her immediate arrest.

Three more sachets of shabu worth P1,500 were also found in Miranda’s possession.
Miranda is set to be charged with possession and sale of illegal drugs.
She admitted that the seized drugs were hers but denied selling the contraband. (wm)
