Intelligence officers of the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) on Wednesday dawn seized shabu worth P108,000 during an anti-drug operation in Tagbilaran City.
Police said that operatives from the Provincial Intelligence Branch seized the drug stash from one Jude Salibay, 26, of Barangay Taloto in Tagbilaran City.
Salibay was arrested through a drug buy-bust operation carried out along M. Torralba Street behind the CPG Sports Complex.
He allegedly sold shabu worth P20,000 to a poseur-buyer during the sting operation.
Authorities said that operatives then found in Salibay’s possession 13 packets of suspected shabu which weighed 16 grams.
Salibay is now under the custody of the BPPO at Camp Francisco Dagohoy in Tagbilaran City.
Authorities are set to file against him charges for violations against Repiblic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (wm)
