A manager of a pharmacy in Tagbilaran City was arrested by police for alleged sale of illegal drugs on Friday night.

Police identified the suspect as Jeffrey Acaso, 34, operations manager of Paz Pharmacy and a native of Barangay Pangdan in Jagna.

Acaso was allegedly caught in possession of shabu worth P34,000.

Authorities said that Acaso sold shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer during the operation leading to his immediate arrest along M. Torralba Street in Barangay Poblacion II.

One day prior to the arrest, Acaso was allegedly spotted selling illegal drugs prompting police to set the drug buy-bust in motion.

Acaso is now under the custody of the Tagbilaran City Police Station and is set to be charged with sale and possession of illegal drugs. (wm)
