Two separate fires, happening barely an hour and a half apart, left over P500,000 worth of property damages in Panglao and Danao on Saturday.
The fire in Panglao which erupted at past 2 p.m. razed two restaurants in Barangay Tawala.
According to the Panglao Fire Station, the two establishments, Farm Ville and Past Restaurant, were both made of light materials.
No one was injured but the fire left P360,000 in damages.
At 3:50 p.m. another fire broke out in Danao town razing the house of one Erlinda Buntod in Barangay Taming.
Firefighters from Sagbayan town responded to the incident as Danao does not have its own fire station.
According to FO1 Joy Petalcorin, the fire left P250,000 worth of property damage.
The fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring, she said based on their initial probe.
No one was injured due to the fire. (AD)
