At least 7 Boholanos pass 2018 Bar exam

At least seven Boholanos passed the 2018 Bar examinations, according to a partial list obtained by the Chronicle.

The Bar passers are as follows: Holy Name University graduates Princess Aragon, Ariel Ramirez, David Maulas, Ralp Ryan Lagura and Katherine Sarte and University of Bohol graduates Joyce Marie Marapao and Filoryn Talo.

Results of the 2018 Bar exams were released by the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday afternoon.

A total of 1,800 of the 8,158 examinees passed, marking a passing rate of 22.07 percent.

A law graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University, Sean James B. Borja, topped the 2018 Bar Examination.

He registered a passing rate of 89.306 percent.

The exams were administered during the four Sundays of November at the University of Santo Tomas.

Meanwhile, SC Associate Justice Mariano Del Castillo, 2018 Bar Exam Chairman, announced that the oathtaking of the successful Bar examinees will be held on June 13 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), while the Signing of the Rolls of Attorney will start on June 14.
